Back to it. Did something strange to my back, so a few days rest were in order.

Nice morning for a run. Clear and 41 degrees.

Today’s run was a 3.75 mile hills route. Took it easier due to the back issue. Pace was 9:58. Weight was 147.2.

A warm (59 degrees), damp and clear early morning. Two days ago, the route felt a bit challenging. Today, it’s not as difficult. The body remembers putting in the miles. It’s sort of like “scraping off the rust.”

Today’s run was a 5.26 mile hills route, with the short 10%+ hill at the end. Pace was 9:32. Weight was 146.0.

Warm and very foggy early morning. Running in the dark when it’s foggy is not fun. Lots of lane switching to be in the “other lane” as cars go by.

Rain is on the way, so get the run in early. Yesterday was a full day getting cedar shingles up on a few sections of the house. Totally focused on that yesterday. Back to the roads today.

Another cool/cold, clear early morning for a run. Not feeling too bad. The knee is OK. I still feel a few things, but it’s all transient.

Getting colder. Temperature this morning was about 34 degrees. No complaints at all.

The knee is OK to run but not 100%. It feels like a tendon along the side slips back and forth a bit. I’ll deal with it.

A rainy, mild morning for a run. I took a few days off to play “Bob the Builder” and work on the house. Back to it, though.

The knee still is OK. Slow and steady ramp-up.

Cool, damp morning. Nowhere near as much traffic on a Saturday. The knee still “complains” a little. Stick to the plan: slow ramp-up in distance.

Another warm early morning. It’s been raining, so everything’s soaked. The rain has also accelerated the “rain” of leaves.

Still just “feeling” the knee. If it stays this way — fine. Hopefully the slow ramp-up in distance works.

A warm early morning, especially for October. The knee is still fine. I can still feel it, but it’s not irritated and at all painful over the course of the day. That’s the key.
