Training Log 03/26/2022

Took several days off to let the right knee get a bit better. Feels like I strained something a few weeks ago. It’s always a fight between pushing and recognizing that some rest is needed. Ugh.

Today’s run was a short knee-testing 2.18 mile rather flat route. Pace was 9:52. Weight was 152.0.

Training Log 03/15/2022

A dark, close, cool morning for a run. Temperature was in the 30’s. It got progressively more misty/foggy during the run. Not ideal when you’re on roads where the traffic picks up as it gets closer to rush hour.

Today’s run was a 10.6 mile rolling hills route. Pace was 9:51. Weight was 150.8.

Training Log 03/05/2022

A cold morning for a long run. Wind chill was in the single digits. I swear the entire return half of the run, no matter what direction, had the wind in my face. I had to use my hand to warm up my face several times to get some feeling back.

Today’s run was a 12.5 mile rolling hills route. Pace was 10:02.

Training Log 03/04/2022

Not the best weather for an early morning run. Snow takes out the berms on the roads. It limits what you can use to come up with a route that’s not too risky.

Today’s route was an improvised 4.7 mile mostly flat-ish route. Pace was 9:29.
