Not the best weather for a long run. Rain and cold (maybe 50). Once I get going I don’t really notice. Just put my head down and press on.
Rain does introduce the risk of stepping into a pothole or some other nasty depression. No way to tell a puddle from a hole. I definitely watch and keep to the bare pavement. Traffic is pretty good about not beeping horns when they go around. I’m not out in the middle of the road but sometimes I’m forced into a lane a bit. A few people go by close but most give me a wide berth.
Today’s run was a 13.1 mile rolling hills route. My watch wouldn’t display when I finished (too cold??) but it did record 2:07:32, so I’m guessing based on an estimated end time that the pace was about 09:49. Weight was 151.0.
