Training Log 01/02/21

Second day on the bike. Feels like I’m starting over but that’s just fine. It’ll get better. Persistence is the key.

The plan is to ride and do roller work for a week and see if the knee is getting to a point where can try running. I’ll do what riding I can — never tried it in winter before.

Today’s course was a rather flat 7.15 mile route at a 4:42 pace, with some traffic around. Weather was about 37 degrees and wet but no actual rain. Weight is 150.0 lbs.

Training Log 01/01/21

Seems like a combination of rolling and bike work is helping the knee. I’m thinking that the knee issues don’t originate in the knee. Interesting.

Started back on the bike, after rides a few days earlier didn’t seem to be an issue at all. Feels good to get back after it.

Biked 8.05 miles on a rolling route at a 4:44/mile pace. Weight is 150.4 lbs.
